A breif information about Gränslösa Resor



 
  Gränslösa Resor - Journeys Beyond Borders
We focus on tours for women, where our guests meet local women with different social backgrounds and get an insight into how they live. Many exciting meetings and experiences are waiting out there! We combine the meetings with sightseeing, safaris, trekking etc. depending on what our destination has to offer.

We also run tours where everybody is welcome regardless of sex. On these tours we visit places that tourists rarely find on their own. We meet people, enjoy daily life, historical sights, temples, national parks and the local cuisine.

All our tours are lead by professional Scandinavian guides.

Management
Journeys Beyond Borders is founded and run by Mrs Lotta and Mr Mike Borgiel. Lotta has worked as a travel agent for 15 years and has travelled across much of the globe. Whether she is exploring the jungles of New Guinea or trekking in the Himalayas, Lotta feels that the greatest experience of all is meeting local people and learning about their culture.

Mike is a marine biologist and journalist. These two professions have taken him all over the world. He has travelled around Burma and Ecuador by motorcycle, caught and marked sea turtles on the Australian Great Barrier Reef, and collected scientific samples in the waters of the Bay of Riga. Nowadays, Mike is a professional consultant and conducts biological studies through his company, Swedish Aquatic Ecologists (Sveriges Vattenekologer).

Our tours
The descriptions of the tours we offer are in Swedish, but we hope that you can get an idea of the itineraries by looking at the destinations included in the tours.
